About this study

The full name of the study is the ContraBand™ Safety & Feasibility Study. ContraBand™ is the earlier name of the device now called the UPright™ System.

The study aims to find out whether the procedure can be performed as planned and how patients are doing over time. The first procedure was performed in Belgium in 2021, and the study has since continued at hospitals in Europe. More than 30 patients with heart failure have taken part so far.

The study is actively enrolling at participating hospitals in Europe. To find out whether it may be suitable for you, talk to your doctor.
